- Does it keep the page’s design?
- Yes. It uses the page’s screen styles rather than its print styles, because print styles usually hide navigation, backgrounds and colour. The result looks like the page, split into A4 pages.
- Can it save a page behind a login?
- No. It opens the address as a stranger would. For a page inside a product you are logged into, print to PDF from your own browser, or capture it with the Demorta Chrome extension.
- Is the text selectable?
- Yes. The PDF is printed from the real page, not a picture of it, so text stays text: you can search it, select it and copy it.
- Is it free? Is the PDF stored?
- Free, no account. The file is held for fifteen minutes so you can download it, then discarded. It is rate-limited because each conversion runs a real browser on our server.
