By creating a Demorta account, installing the Demorta Recorder browser extension, or viewing a demo published through Demorta, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
Demorta lets you record click-through product demos and publish them as interactive, shareable links or embeds. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We work to keep it reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may change or discontinue features as the product evolves.
You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide when creating a workspace, and for keeping your login credentials secure. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you believe your account has been compromised.
You agree not to use Demorta to:
You own the screenshots, recordings, narration, and branding you upload to Demorta. By publishing a demo, you grant Demorta the right to host, store, and display that content back to viewers you share it with, solely to operate the service. We don't claim ownership of your content and don't use it for anything beyond delivering the product.
Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand. Cancelling stops future renewals -- you keep access through the end of the period you already paid for. Prices may change; we'll give you notice before a change applies to your subscription. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
The Demorta Recorder extension only captures a page when you actively click record. You're responsible for only recording pages and workflows you're authorized to capture and share.
You can stop using Demorta and delete your account at any time from the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these terms, including abusive use or non-payment, with notice where practical.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Demorta is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. The service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
We may update these terms as the product changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Demorta after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Reach out through the contact form and we'll get back to you.
