How it works
- A real browser opens the page at the size you chose and waits for it to finish drawing — fonts, images, the scripts that lay out the page.

When a screenshot is not enough
A screenshot shows a page. - How do I take a full-page screenshot of a website?
- Paste the page address above and press Take the screenshot. A browser on our side opens the page at desktop, tablet or phone size, scrolls through it once so lazy-loaded images appear, then captures the whole page top to bottom as one PNG. It takes ten to twenty seconds and needs no extension.
- Can it screenshot a page behind a login?
- No. It opens the address as a stranger would, so anything that needs a login is out of reach. For pages inside your own product, the Demorta Chrome extension captures the tab you are looking at, logged in.
- Why does the screenshot look different from my browser?
- Cookie banners, pop-ups and regional content appear as they would to a first-time visitor. A few sites block automated browsers or render only after heavy scripting; those capture thin. Very long pages are cut at 20,000 pixels.
- What sizes does it capture at?
- Desktop at 1440 pixels wide, tablet at 820 (2x, so 1640 pixel PNG) and phone at 390 (2x, so 780 pixel PNG). Untick "whole page" to capture only the first screen.
- Is it free? Is anything stored?
- Free, no account. The file is held for fifteen minutes so you can download it, then discarded. It is rate-limited because each capture runs a real browser on our server.
