Most interactive demos are screenshots. An HTML demo captures the page's real markup instead, so text stays selectable, layout adapts, and a viewer can be allowed to scroll and explore rather than only click forward.
It is also, consistently, the most expensive thing in this category.

Why it is priced this way
HTML capture is genuinely harder to build than screenshot capture. Serialising a live page means inlining stylesheets, resolving asset URLs, stripping scripts safely, and reproducing the result faithfully in a sandboxed frame. Screenshots have none of those problems, because a picture cannot misbehave.
That difficulty is real. Whether it justifies a tier that costs ten to fifteen times the entry plan is a different question, and one worth asking rather than assuming.
When you actually need it
- Dense text you want readable on a phone, since real text reflows and a screenshot does not.
- Letting viewers explore -- scrolling and hovering around the page instead of following a fixed path.
- Long pages where the interesting part is below the fold.
- Accessibility, because selectable text can be read by a screen reader and an image cannot.
When screenshots are genuinely fine
A short, linear demo of a visual product loses very little as screenshots, and gains something: a picture cannot break, re-render oddly, or leak a live asset.
If your demo is five steps showing a clear sequence, the HTML tier is not what is standing between you and a good demo. Do not pay for it to fix a problem you do not have.
The honest disclosure
