Restaurant operators are among the hardest buyers to get on a call, and it is not reluctance -- it is that their working hours are exactly when calls happen.
A demo they can watch at 4pm between prep and service is worth more here than in almost any other category.
Hospitality has high staff churn, which means the buyer is not really asking "is this software good". They are asking how long it takes to train a new server on it, because they will be doing that repeatedly.
Demo the new-staff path: first login, first order, first mistake corrected. If a new server can be productive in ten minutes, that is your strongest argument and it is rarely the one on the feature page.
Show the common action at realistic pace -- splitting a bill, applying a discount, moving a table, handling a modifier. These are unglamorous and they are what the software is doing ten thousand times a month.
A demo that shows an elegant reporting suite and skips the till interaction is demoing the wrong product to the wrong person.
Hospitality buyers respond to a link far better than a calendar invite. Put demos in your outbound, on the pricing page, and in any marketplace listing for the POS hardware or delivery platforms they already run.
For multi-site groups, a demo also survives the internal forward to the area manager and the finance lead, which is where these decisions get made.
