Zapier integrations are awkward to demo because the payoff is invisible by design: something happens automatically, later, with nobody looking.
The fix is to show the result first and the setup second.
Open on the thing that happened automatically — the row added, the message sent, the record created in another tool. That is what the buyer wants and it is the shortest way to explain the value.
Then show the Zap being built: trigger, action, done. Three or four steps, not the full editor.
Anyone who has used Zapier seriously has had a Zap fail silently. Showing a run history, an error, or a retry does more for trust than another successful example.
It is also a differentiator, because most integration demos show only the happy path.
Your integrations page, your Zapier app listing description if you have one, and support replies where someone asks whether you connect to a tool you do not natively support.
That last one is quietly the most valuable: a Zapier demo is often the answer to "do you integrate with X" for every X you have not built.
