Small companies are told to be data-driven by people operating at volumes where that is possible. At a few hundred visitors a month, most attribution is noise wearing a dashboard.
Some things are still worth measuring. Knowing which is the difference between useful measurement and expensive theatre.
Counts of things people did, not models of why. How many reached the signup page, how many finished it, how many took the first meaningful action, how many came back a week later.
Those are countable at any volume, they move for understandable reasons, and they point at a specific thing to change.
At your scale you can talk to a meaningful share of your customers, which nobody at a larger company can. One question on signup — "how did you find us?" — outperforms most analytics at this stage.
It is imprecise and it is directionally right, which is all you need to decide where to spend next month.
A demo reports what happened inside it: how many watched, how far they got, which step lost them. That is unusually clean data because it is a single flow with a defined end.
It tells you nothing about which channel produced the visitor. If your question is "which marketing works", that is a different tool and a different problem, and a demo is not an analytics platform.
