Insurance software is bought by people who have seen a great many software demos and are unusually good at spotting the parts that were skipped.
It is also a category where you cannot record freely, because almost every real screen contains personal data, policy numbers, or something a regulator would rather you did not publish.
Whatever else your product does, the flow that decides purchases is getting from a customer's details to a bound policy. Show that, end to end, with the number of steps visible.
Brokers are counting clicks. A demo that shows a quote in four screens instead of eleven has made its argument without saying anything about efficiency.
The non-standard risk, the mid-term adjustment, the renewal with a change. These are where broker software either helps or gets in the way, and they are what an experienced buyer is watching for.
A demo that only shows a clean new-business quote reads as a product that has not met real work yet, whether or not that is true.
A carrier cares about underwriting rules, distribution and reporting. A broker cares about speed, panel access and admin they can stop doing.
Separate demos. The vocabulary alone differs enough that a merged demo sounds like it was written for somebody else, which in half the cases it was.
Click through it — the same kind of demo you can record of your own product.
Record your first interactive demo free.
Five demos on the free plan, forever. No credit card, no trial countdown, no sales call. Install the Chrome extension, click through your product once, and you have a shareable link in about ten minutes.
