Late in a deal a demo often gets forwarded to finance, and the demo that convinced the team lands flat there. That is not disinterest — it is a different question being asked.
Finance is assessing a commitment, not a capability.
Seat management, usage against the plan, the billing page, the export. These are the screens finance actually wants and the ones almost never demoed, because they are unexciting to everyone else.
A two-minute walkthrough of them answers more finance objections than an hour on the product, and it can be recorded once and reused on every deal.
Vague efficiency claims are heard as noise by people who read numbers for a living. "Replaces the £340 a month you spend on X" or "saves roughly a day a month of someone's time" is checkable, which is what makes it persuasive.
If you cannot name a saving, say the value is somewhere else and name that instead. An honest "this does not save money, it prevents a specific failure" survives scrutiny better than an invented figure.
You will rarely be in the room. This demo exists to be sent by your champion to someone who was on no calls, so it must work without context, without a gate, and without you narrating it.
One link, two sentences, no attachments. That is the whole format.
Click through it — the same kind of demo you can record of your own product.
